-NGI event marked the first time an electric caddy was used in NCAA golf-

Motocaddy, the world’s leading electric caddy brand, announced today that the University of Wyoming used its game-enhancing products en route to victory at the Golfweek Women’s National Golf Invitational (NGI) over the weekend.

The 54-hole stroke-play event, held at Ak-Chin Southern Dunes in Maricopa, Arizona, saw the University of Wyoming’s four lowest players experience a Motocaddy M1 DHC electric caddy to help secure a record-breaking wire-to-wire victory in the fourth edition of the Women’s NGI. The Wyoming Cowgirls carded an impressive three-round total of 873 (+9) to beat the previous NGI record by four strokes.

From a performance standpoint, participants who used an electric caddy scored six shots better on average than those who opted to carry their clubs. This included a three-shot difference in the final round alone, where using an electric caddy provided a clear advantage in the hot and windy conditions when fatigue had undoubtedly set in.

Motocaddy’s sponsorship of the NGI offered participants the unique opportunity to experience an electric caddy for the first time in NCAA golf, with 70% of players using an electric caddy, and 85% of the field relying on a Motocaddy product (electric caddy or push cart) to play without the strain of carrying a golf bag over the three days. The final leaderboard showed that nine out of the top 12 players used a Motocaddy product over the weekend.

“We’d like to congratulate the University of Wyoming team on their success at the NGI where we were thrilled to see such strong usage of our leading products,” says Andy Warren, VP of Sales at Motocaddy. “This is a real landmark moment for Motocaddy and the electric caddy market as a whole, and we are proud to be leading the charge in helping collegiate golfers get the best out of their game.”

Commenting on the response from participants, Golfweek’s Lance Ringler, NGI Tournament Director, says: “It was really cool to see so many players using the electric carts. All the comments were positive, with most saying how easy it was!  To have the NGI be the first college tournament to use this was exciting for us. This week represented something that could become more widespread in college golf.”

According to Josey Stender, Head Women’s Golf Coach at the University of Wyoming, Motocaddy electric caddies were a tremendous benefit to her team throughout the competition. “From the initial instruction through to the competition itself, the user-experience was seamless, and the caddies really supported each player’s physical and mental endurance – especially in the heat when tiredness kicked in,” she says. “They relieved the enormous stress of carrying a golf bag for three successive rounds and we’d absolutely look to use again if permitted.”

The Motocaddy electric caddy range is comprised of the award-winning M7 GPS REMOTE and M7 REMOTE, offering ultra-responsive remote navigation and exceptional control on all terrains; the M5 GPS DHC, featuring next-generation GPS software and a 3.5” LCD touchscreen display; and the M1 DHC models, widely recognized as the world’s simplest-to-use compact-folding model. Each model showcases strikingly modern looks with advanced technology, premium finishes and a streamlined design to deliver a smarter, more intuitive walking experience.

Additionally, the individual champion used a Motocaddy QB2 push cart on her way to a tournament-record victory, following rounds of 71, 68 and 70 for a three-day total of 209 (6-under par).

“The entire Motocaddy team is incredibly proud of the association with the NGI and we are delighted with the overwhelmingly positive reaction to our game-enhancing products,” adds Warren. “It’s made us super excited to work with coaches and players at next week’s men’s event and showcase why using an electric caddy is the best decision an elite-level golfer can make.”

MOTOCADDY REDEFINES ENTRY-LEVEL ELECTRIC TROLLEY CATEGORY WITH NEW SE MODEL https://golfingnetworks.com/motocaddy-redefines-entry-level-electric-trolley-category-with-new-se-model/ https://golfingnetworks.com/motocaddy-redefines-entry-level-electric-trolley-category-with-new-se-model/#respond Thu, 04 Jun 2026 14:40:40 +0000 https://golfingnetworks.com/motocaddy-redefines-entry-level-electric-trolley-category-with-new-se-model/

Motocaddy has unveiled an upgraded version of its SE electric trolley for 2026, bringing a fresh look and enhanced performance to the brand’s most accessible model.

The latest SE combines automotive inspired styling with the reliability that has made the company a market leader, while keeping an attractive price point for golfers moving into electric trolleys.

Designed for effortless walking

The 2026 SE introduces Motocaddy’s CLICK ‘N’ CONNECT cable free lithium battery system, complete with patented auto disconnect that powers off the trolley when folded.

A pop up charging port allows simple on board charging, while a high power 28V system and whisper quiet 230W motor deliver smooth and efficient performance across all terrain.

Nine speed settings help golfers match their natural walking pace, and ambidextrous controls make operation easy for both left and right handed players.

The SE has nine speed settings

Faster folding and stronger build

Convenience has been central to the redesign. The trolley features the brand’s quickest one step folding mechanism, enabling set up and pack down in seconds.

Inverting wheels reduce the folded footprint for easier storage and transport, while oversize tubing improves handle stability and frame strength.

Additional touches include a USB charging port for devices during the round, LED power and battery indicators, a pause and resume function, and full EASILOCK compatibility for secure strap free attachment of any Motocaddy bag.

The SE comes with a choice of Standard Lithium or ULTRA Lithium batteries.

Confidence in entry level performance

“We’re thrilled to introduce the new SE electric trolley, a product that reflects Motocaddy’s commitment to delivering outstanding performance, simplicity and value to golfers at every level,” said Oliver Churcher of Motocaddy.

“Since its acclaimed launch two years ago, the SE has been incredibly popular and we believe the new model will redefine what golfers expect from an entry level electric trolley, bringing unrivalled styling, features and convenience to every round.”

Weighing 9.3kg and built from durable aluminium, the 2026 SE will be available next month in a Graphite finish with a choice of Standard Lithium or ULTRA Lithium batteries.

It is backed by a 24 month warranty. For more information visit motocaddy.com or follow @MotocaddyGolf on social media.

MOTOCADDY LAUNCH THREE NEW REMOTE MODELS https://golfingnetworks.com/motocaddy-launch-three-new-remote-models/ https://golfingnetworks.com/motocaddy-launch-three-new-remote-models/#respond Sat, 23 May 2026 10:53:12 +0000 https://golfingnetworks.com/motocaddy-launch-three-new-remote-models/

Motocaddy has strengthened its position at the forefront of hands free golf technology with the launch of three new remote control electric trolleys for 2026.

The world leading electric trolley brand has unveiled the M7 GPS Remote, M7 Remote and ME Remote for golfers in the UK and Ireland, expanding its remote control offering at a time when demand for hands free performance continues to surge.

According to Motocaddy, remote models accounted for 46 per cent of its electric trolley sales last year, with remote sales rising by 44 per cent overall.

Marketing Director Oliver Churcher said the new line up offers game changing features across a range of price points.

“These new trolleys take our remote control range to the next level as we offer golfers a selection of game changing features at different price points,” he said. “The brand new M7 GPS Remote is the world’s most advanced electric golf trolley, with upgraded styling and a giant leap in GPS technology. Similarly, the new M7 Remote debuts a bigger screen with enhanced functionality, while the significantly upgraded ME Remote delivers our award winning remote technology at an entry level price point.”

Flagship M7 GPS Remote sets new benchmark

2026 M7 GPS REMOTE

At the top of the range sits the multi award winning M7 GPS Remote, which features fully integrated GPS through a responsive 3.5 inch touchscreen display and more than 40000 pre loaded courses.

The model includes high performance GPS technology with full hole mapping, dynamic green view, front middle and back distances, drag and drop target planning and hazard information. Golfers also receive smartphone alerts via Bluetooth, lifetime GPS mapping and super fast Wi Fi for over the air updates.

New for 2026 is the ability to personalise the GPS interface with shortcuts to preferred features. Users can choose between 2D and 3D mapping, including 3D hole flyovers and panning, along with portrait or landscape views and radial distance markers. Light or dark display modes, round and lost ball timers and a clock are also included.

The trolley has been developed using virtual reality, rapid prototyping and artificial intelligence technologies, and features the brand’s Click N Connect cable free Lithium battery system with automatic power off when folded. A retractable rear anti tip wheel can remain attached for folding.

The M7 GPS Remote will be available from March at an RRP of £1499.99.

The updated model includes drive, round and lifetime distance readings, a clock and round timer, plus a new Cartlock PIN code security feature. Golfers can switch between remote and handle control modes and benefit from pause, resume and emergency stop functions.

Like the flagship model, it features Downhill Control, which automatically regulates speed on slopes, and Adaptive Terrain Stability technology that monitors wheel speed and load to maintain straight line tracking and stability.

Dual rotating front wheels improve manoeuvrability, while the Easilock bag to trolley connection system removes the need for a lower bag strap when used with a Motocaddy bag.

The M7 Remote will also be available from March, priced at £1299.99.

ME Remote offers accessible entry point

The ME Remote will be available from March at an RRP of £1099.99 and comes with a new 24 month trolley warranty.
