Golf Pride Unveils ZERO TAPER Putter Grips

Golf Pride has unveiled its latest putter grip innovation with the launch of ZERO TAPER, a new design aimed at promoting consistency, confidence and control on the greens.

The world’s leading grip manufacturer says the new model has been purposefully engineered to optimise hand placement and encourage even grip pressure, helping golfers square the putter face more effectively at impact.

ZERO TAPER will be available in stores and online from February 17.

Designed for consistency and confidence

The defining feature of ZERO TAPER is its parallel shape, offering a familiar look and feel for players who prefer a non tapered putter grip.

By ensuring both hands experience the same sensation throughout the stroke, Golf Pride believes the grip can help create a more synchronised and repeatable motion.

A deeper side profile improves face awareness, providing clear feedback that allows golfers to better sense and control the putter head.

Visual cues built into the grip guide hand placement, helping players return to the same setup time after time.

An ergonomic horseshoe shaped backside creates a natural resting point for finger folds, while a consistent weight profile across all sizes preserves the putter sweet spot and improves overall stability during the stroke.

The grips are available in two sizes–medium and large–with three distinct colour-ways to suit a variety of player preferences: black, blue, and red

Built on experience and testing

Drawing on more than seventy five years of grip making expertise and extensive consumer testing, ZERO TAPER has been developed to balance comfort with performance.

The grip is constructed using polyurethane, a material previously introduced in Golf Pride’s Reverse Taper putter grip range launched in twenty twenty four.

The polyurethane construction delivers a soft yet responsive feel, with traction elements designed to suit a variety of gripping styles.

ZERO TAPER now joins Reverse Taper as one of only two Golf Pride putter grips made using this material.

James Ledford, President of Golf Pride, said the new release builds directly on the success of its predecessor.

“Two years ago we introduced Reverse Taper and it quickly became one of the top selling putter grips worldwide.

With ZERO TAPER we are building on that success by offering players who favour a consistent geometric shape a grip that meets their needs. Our mission is to create products that inspire confidence and help players of all skill levels perform their best.

Sizes colours and availability

ZERO TAPER will be offered in medium and large sizes and will be available in black, blue and red colour options to suit different player preferences.

The grip was conceptualised, designed and tested at Golf Pride’s Global Innovation Centre in Pinehurst, North Carolina, which serves as the hub for global research, product design and brand marketing.

From February 17, ZERO TAPER will be available to purchase in store and online through authorised retailers.

More information on the new grip and the wider twenty twenty six Golf Pride product range can be found at the company’s website and social media channels.
